An Inconvenient Truth

October 27, 2008

So a defence in a murder trial is that it was likely that Carolyn Byrne was a high suicide risk. High Suicide Risk.  However history is not always as it seems.

I have never attempted suicide myself although I’ve thought about it.  My mother killed herself, as did my sister and husband.  So does this alone make me a higher risk?

The inconvenient truth here is that sociopaths will use this knowledge against you to get what they want. The accused in this case is charged with throwing her body off The Gap and he is claiming that she suicided.  Ladies and Getlemen this is a hairy situation, but having been in a similar situation where my history was used to influence people, don’t believe everything that is manipulated in front of you.

It’s easy to build a case, but much harder to admit and find the truth.
